A complete externally mounted PTFE seal with exchangeable face insert for use in extremely corrosive applications such as high concentrations of acids, salts, strong oxidizing and reducing agents and chemically active organic compounds.
• A shaft mounted seal that has all wetted components made from PTFE with carbon or silicon carbide face inserts for high corrosion resistance.
• Seal is mounted outside of the stuffing box.
