The R Series pumps are ideal for dewatering constructions sites or for all around use in industrial plants and utilities. These top discharge pumps are light weight and compact for excellent performance and quality. The Mop Up® pump is an R Series pump that is perfect for mopping up after flooding and cleaning up spills in basements, businesses, industrial plants and other areas. These pumps can be started in a small puddle and can pump down to 1/12th of an inch.
• Top discharge allows for superior motor cooling and slim line design.
• 304 stainless steel motor housing for superior heat transfer.
• Three seal motor protection - Motor is protected by double mechanical seals. Lower seal made of silicon carbide/silicon carbide and upper seal is made of carbon/ceramic*. An additional lip seal has been installed above the impeller to help prevent abrasives such as dirt, silt or sand from entering into the seal chamber.
• Winding protection and (NEMA) Class F motor insulation protect the motor from temperatures up to 230°F. This is superior to pumps with Class A and B insulation.
• High temperature automatic overload switch protects against motor failure due to overheating.
• Cast iron construction stands up to rough handling and pumping sandy water*.
• Longer power cord - Standard 33ft. power cord on pumps½ HP and below and 50ft. on pumps 1HP and above.
