Hartzell Air Movement's Series 46 Belt Drive Duct Axial Fan is designed for industrial applications requiring an axial duct fan design with the versatility of a belt drive configuration.

Part of Hartzell's Rapid Ship family of products available for shipment within 5 days, Series 46 fans move large volumes of air at moderate pressures and are built to provide long, reliable service. The fans are available in sizes from 12" to 60" with flow rates ranging from 600 to 70,000 CFM at static pressures up to 4 in W.G. Standard models are suitable for use in temperatures up to 200°F, with high temperature construction up to 350°F also available.

The Series 46 axial duct fan features a 6 blade, cast aluminum airfoil propeller mounted with split taperlock bushing and safety retainer plate for easy installation and removal. The one piece housing is constructed of heavy gauge hot rolled steel with continuously welded steel drum and flanges. Series 46 Duct Axial Fans are also available with an aluminum housing.

The exterior mounted motor is positioned on a fully adjustable platform style base, with open end motors, shaft seal and slinger included on standard models. Drive components including bearings and shaft are enclosed in an inner drum and protected from the airstream. Heavy duty, pillow block, ball or roller type bearings provide minimum L 50 life of 400,000 hours for horizontal fans, and 250,000 hours for vertical fans; and include extended lubrication fittings. The fan also features cast iron drive sheaves with "V" type belts that are heat , oil , and static resistant and sized for continuous service. Variable pitch drive sheaves are standard on fans up to and including 10 HP through 48" size.
